Silver prints are individually hand made by Dan Aucante in darkroom on gelatin silver paper.
All photographs handled by an appropriate chemical process and a additional Selenium toning increasing there’s potential longevity. They are finalized by an intensive wash of two hours in warm tap water and a cold pressing for a long preservation.
All black and white silver photographs on this website are printed at 16x20 inch or 20x24 inch in limited editions of 15 + 5 artist proofs.
> All prints are signed, titled and numbered in pencil au verso (from 1 to 15). The numbering is scrupulously respected.
In the term of 15 copies, photographs is not available anymore and it in a definitive and irreversible way.

HELIOGRAVURE
For exhibition "Limits" in Paris, the Gallery Imagineo has launched a collection of heliogravure.

Heliogravure au grain is a process enabling the transfer of a photographic image to a copper plate through photosensible gelatin.
This video of 4 mns shows Fannny Boucher during the manufacturing of "Limits N°1".
